New York City & New Jersey
Commercial interiors.
Built around their purpose.
Altz Group provides commercial renovations and interior buildouts in New York City and New Jersey. Our experience spans restaurants, cafes, offices, specialty studios, healthcare and institutional spaces.
Interior construction
Coordinate systems and finishes.
An interior buildout can bring mechanical, electrical and plumbing work, custom millwork, partitions, lighting and detailed finishes into the same space. Our general-contracting and construction-management services connect scope review and procurement with trade coordination, field supervision and closeout.
The starting point matters: a full buildout, a renovation of an existing interior and work in an operating facility each call for a different conversation about existing conditions, access and sequencing.
Selected experience
Purpose shapes the work.
The Co-Collective office renovation included a recording and filming studio, MEP work, custom millwork and lighting. Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse involved detailed interior renovation while the restaurant remained open. Brooklyn DaVita combined a dialysis-center interior with structural work and specialty mechanical systems.
Our project galleries show the individual settings and scopes behind that experience. For sector-specific examples, explore our healthcare and restaurant construction pages.

Office renovations
Workspaces and specialty studios.
The Co-Collective project at 419 Park Avenue South in Manhattan was a 7,000-square-foot office renovation with a recording and filming studio. The documented scope included building systems, custom millwork and LED lighting.

Bring the space into focus.
Share the project location, how the space will be used, any available drawings and the intended construction scope. If the business or facility will remain in use, identify the areas that need to stay accessible and any restrictions that affect the work.
These details help establish what must be coordinated between the owner, design team and construction trades. We can then discuss the appropriate general-contracting or construction-management role for the assignment.
