New York City & New Jersey
General contracting.
Closely coordinated.
Altz Group provides general contracting for commercial interiors, tenant buildouts, renovations, structural alterations and ground-up construction in New York City and New Jersey.
Scope & execution
From drawings to field work.
Our work brings structure, building systems and finishes into one coordinated construction effort. We review the scope and drawings, plan procurement and site logistics, and coordinate trade contractors and field supervision as construction progresses.
Assignments can range from an interior renovation to an extension or new building. The construction approach depends on the existing conditions, the design and whether any part of the property needs to remain in use.
Project experience
Detailed work. Different settings.
At Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse in Manhattan, the scope included custom millwork, doors, glass and tile in a restaurant that remained open during renovation. At Brooklyn DaVita, a full dialysis-center buildout brought together structural work, specialty mechanical systems, reverse osmosis and interior finishes.
The Co-Collective office renovation combined building-systems work with a specialty recording and filming studio, millwork and lighting. These projects illustrate the coordination required where technical systems and finished spaces meet.
Planning your project
Start with the scope.
Share the location, intended use, available drawings and target timing. For a renovation, include what is already built and which spaces must stay in operation. These details help frame the conversation around scope, sequencing, procurement and the appropriate project team.
Our services include quality review, punch lists and closeout coordination. Owners seeking broader planning and project oversight can also explore our construction-management approach.
